Blue Ridge Industrial, LLC (BRI) is a Dallas-based real estate private equity firm focused on acquiring, developing and managing functional, well-located industrial real estate. Founded by Michael Trapani and Nate Leifeld in 2018, BRI invests in markets throughout the United States.
Through 12 formed investment partnerships, BRI has acquired 46 acres for development and 78 industrial buildings in 5 markets totaling 3.8 million square feet. Including work for their previous firms, BRI partners’ transactional experience encompasses 206 industrial buildings in 19 markets totaling 16.0 million square feet.
To date, BRI has fully exited 4 and partially exited 2 of those partnerships, selling 26 buildings in 4 markets totaling 0.9 million square feet.

MICHAEL TRAPANI
Managing Partner
Michael Trapani is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Blue Ridge Industrial where he is responsible for the strategic direction, investments, and management of the firm.
Prior to co-founding BRI, Michael worked for real estate investment banking and private equity firms where he specialized in equity raising, acquisitions, asset management, and investment sales.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce with concentrations in Finance, Management, and Real Estate from the University of Virginia. Michael actively mentors undergraduate students and young professionals, and is a member of NAIOP and ULI.

NATE LEIFELD
Managing Partner
Nate Leifeld is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Blue Ridge Industrial where he is responsible for the strategic direction, investments, and management of the firm.
Prior to co-founding BRI, Nate focused on multiple asset classes within commercial real estate that range from consulting to transactional experience. At the consulting level, he worked on portfolio level valuations and performed in-depth analysis on several multi-billion dollar opportunistic, core-plus, and net-lease real estate funds.
Nate earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Regional/Real Estate Development and a Minor in Business Management from the University of Arizona. Additionally, Nate is an active member of ULI where he is the Young Leader Chair of the North Texas Education Committee, and a Member of the IOPC – Industrial & Office Product Council.
